You all caught part 1 of Brit (founder of the wedding dress line, Daughters Of Simone) + Jeff’s festival-inspired wedding, right? Because, if not, you’ll definitely want to take a peek at that before moving onto their fun bohemian reception, designed by our friends at PowWow!
You’ll see one detail heavily represented throughout the photos below by Feather Love Photography – tents! And we love how Brit + Jeff used this element to infuse their personalities into the day. Brit tells us, Since we both love camping, not just at festivals but in general, we wanted to incorporate this aspect most of all. We thought it would just be the coolest thing to be under the stars with all of our favorite people the night before our wedding. We decided to go all out and get Shelter Co.. and Under Canvas Events on board. Shelter Co. set up these amazing canvas sleeping tents that mimic a teepee, but with full on beds, nice sheets and warm down comforters. They even fully decorated them with night stands, rugs, and seating areas. Under Canvas Events did all the extra large event teepees, and the bathroom teepees. So everyone got hot showers, and flushing toilettes (in teepees mind you!). This also meant our guests got to experience the outdoors like they never had before, inspired and totally comfortable.
It’s probably not breaking news to hear us say we love the way PowWow decorated the tents! Brit + Jeff share, PowWow did everything from hand make bohemian cabanas with floor pillows and leather Mexican couches to littering the sky with various Moroccan lanterns, stacks on stacks of vintage rugs, poufs, and candles galore. Every last square inch was thoughtout and carried out. Throughout the weekend I kept catching myself seeing things I had’t noticed before. It was a bohemian wonderland.

Since no festival-inspired wedding would be complete without great music, Brit + Jeff invited BROTHERS to play and from what we heard, EVERYONE was on their feet dancing HARD!

Coarse Gold Flower Shop decked out the scene with wildflower-inspired centerpieces that appeared to have been picked right from the wedding surroundings!
