Bountiful Rustic Boho Meets Tropical Harvest Wedding Inspiration

Boho Harvest Inspiration

The feeling of fall… The way it draws you in — first with the slight breeze, the changing of the leaves, and then all at once, with an overwhelming feeling to cozy up in a blanket and surround yourself with loved ones and subdued color palettes. It’s one of the best feelings ever, right?! Photographer Miesh Frampton tells us: Fall evokes such a huge change here in Utah. An entire mountain range changing from shades of green, then shades of orange and reds, to finally shades of browns and tans. It is easy to feel like there is no more life in the plants and trees once they go into hibernation.

Once they give up their most vibrant fall colors, there is nothing left for them to offer…or is there? The event designer, Gatherist, and I took this feeling of lifelessness and created something full of rich texture and shapes that bring life back into the dried florals.

Ready to fall, and we mean absolutely FALL head over heels for this autumnal harvest? Let’s head to the Miesh Studio in Salt Lake City, which the team completely transformed…

Over the top texture and organic design pretty much sums up this entire shoot, which was highlighted in this simple + darling invitation by Refine Studio.

Miesh shares: The bride who would incorporate this look would be an easy going, free-spirited woman. Maybe a bride who needs to incorporate multiple cultures and traditions into a celebration would want something that felt as “messy” and lived in as this look.

We didn’t channel any specific part of the world to create this boho look, but an overall combination of beautiful patterns and handmade items that made it feel very home-grown and reminiscent of multiple cultures. Using the dried florals made everything feel timeless and unchanged like it has been around for years just waiting to be appreciated.
