Boho-Glam Holiday Party Inspiration

christmas presents

The holidays are just around the corner, so we thought it would be fun to share some unique inspiration for throwing a boho-glam holiday party! I love how the talented east coast-based artists behind this gorgeous shoot infused the setting with lots festive, holiday details, while also retaining an heir of cultivated sophistication. By using an eclectic mix of free-spirited elements and edgy, radiant details they were able to perfectly transform what we traditionally think of as boho-glam, and craft a soiree that is sure to inspire all you party-throwers looking for a few fresh ideas! Here’s a bit more from Rebekah Pillmore, the lovely lady behind these pretty images:

The bold color palette of poppy red, deep teal and plenty of gold creates the perfect blend of elegance and welcoming holiday warmth. Add in rich visual textures, delicious cocktails, and the laughter of good friends and you have the perfect recipe for an unforgettable evening.

Event designer, Lindsay Rae, prop styled the shoot + created the beautiful floral arrangements. The untamed feel to the florals and gilded leaves added the perfect dose of color + texture and just the right amount of holiday cheer.

One of the team’s main goals was to take traditional holiday elements and re-work them to create unique + inspired styling ideas. I absolutely adore the “Christmas teepee”, fashioned from vintage lace curtains, which acts as an updated version of a Christmas tree! And the kraft-wrapped presents decorated with gold paint is another sweet touch!
