Bohemian Macrame Wedding Inspiration

It’s not really a shocker that we love all things bohemian around these parts (though we definitely don’t discriminate against a good glam, rustic, or modern wedding either!). But that being said, we love it even more when creatives take the boho term to great new heights + give us all a fresh + fun dose of inspiration. Today’s styled shoot, photographed by Let’s Frolic Together, fuses together free-spirited design details with elements of macrame, all paired with a hefty dose of color + charm. We’re pretty smitten with those meandering florals by The Dainty Lion and that awesome ceremony space the team created featuring lots of pretties from Pow Wow Vintage Rentals! So much to love and consider incorporating into your day! Here’s a bit more about the shoot + concept from Kimberly of The Dainty Lion:

There is something incredibly alluring about bohemian style. It bewitches your senses into forgetting the world and subtly forces you to live in the moment through visual seduction. For this shoot I wondered what my bohemia would be and soon began dreaming of macramé, brass and flowers. Of course, having a brand spankin’ new venue at my fingertips (The Slate Barn & Gardens in Vista, California) was the ultimate inspiration. The dress and cake embellishment were created out of my everlasting love for macramé and fringe. From there, I did what any bohemian lady on a mission would do; travel around searching for the perfect pieces to complete my vision.

Wouldn’t this be a fun sweetheart table? A totally stylish, cozy spot to share your first meal as a married couple together!

This gorge ceremony space would be pretty easy to recreate, with hanging herbs or greenery bunches above, an old metal bed frame (or any cool architectural element) acting as a backdrop + some fun, printed pillows, poufs, or benches scattered about.
