When we heard from Kelly of Wild Whim Design + Photography about this pretty little ditty you’re about to see, she threw around a couple of our most fave words: Bohemian, Gypset, European…sigh! It was all we needed to hear for our collective wanderlust hearts to do a happy dance! Kelly teamed up with the design crew at Skills+Frills and Laura Giuliani for florals, and what they created is seriously so fun! Below, Kelly tells us a bit more about the inspiration and how they brought this gorge setting to life:

When Cielo Farms Winery in Malibu, California, approached us (myself and the ladies of Skills+Frills) about putting together a styled shoot, with the intent of showcasing their newly opened wedding venue to the public, we knew immediately that a Eurpean-Gypset vibe would work wonderfully with the cobblestone barn and vineyard backdrop that Cielo offers. Jewel toned textiles, layered vintage globes, gathered objects, and rustic furniture pieces all work together to celebrate our bohemian, hipster couples’ love of travel and their desire to bring a bit of that European nostalgia back to the hills of California.
A richly hued peony bouquet for you and a burgundy velvet blazer for him. These elements are so great for Winter 2015 weddings – which we’re sure many of you are in the midst of planning!
We’re giddy over this outdoor venue space and all the fun details the team integrated into the setting.
We’re feeling the gypset vibes, are you?! Global touches like lanterns and travel details like suitcases are a fun + easy way to decorate your wedding to achieve this pretty look.
That stunner of a dress was scooped up at Wisteria Bridal in Thousand Oaks. Loving those lace cap sleeves!
This spread!! Simon Booth Events really rocked it with a perfect food display.
Kelly says, The wedding decor and styling were inspired by the casual yet glamorous lifestyle of the gypsy jetsetter. We created a warm and intimate environment by mixing velvet textures with romantic florals in varying shades of pinks and reds.
Love the naked cake by Skiffs Cakes.
And a fun idea for a little bit of wow-factor? These guys rented a Fiat from a local dealership for a super sweet getaway ride!

A big thanks to the crew who brought this one to life! We love it + know it will inspire so many future weddings with its gorgeous euro-boho gypset vibe!
