Brittany, the totally adorable bride from today’s garden wedding, is a crafty, DIY type of gal who knew what she wanted design-wise for her wedding day and brought all the details together, with the help of her amazing vendor team, once the big day rolled around! She and Andrew had a fun vision for their celebration – where modern, boho details would mingle in an organic garden setting – and thanks to the most beautiful blooms by Layered Vintage, unique rental pieces from Witty Rentals and the serene, verdant location at Quail Haven Farm in Vista, California, their dreams for their day absolutely came true!
Brittany tells us, Andrew and I are a pretty non-traditional couple, so we wanted to incorporate elements that reflected such. While the food truck was a must for Andrew, the wild, organic floral arrangements were a must for me. We both love donuts (from VG’s especially!) so including these as a dessert for guests was important to us as well. Wanting our day to be interactive and fun for guests, we opted for a Polaroid guest book and a tattoo bar. As for the overall theme, I’ve always been a fan of green garden weddings, but I wanted a wedding with a more bohemian flair too – so I figured, “Why not mesh the two??”
Let’s see how it turned out in the photos by Red Barn below!
LOVE that all the guys wore turquoise bolo ties – so good! You can shop similar ties right here!
Andrew getting emotional during the reading of his vows! I was not expecting that, but his emotions made his words that much more meaningful. Pretty sure he had everyone in the audience crying too. I am still getting comments from guests saying that his vows were the best and most sincere they've heard yet! The choreographed dance with my dad was pretty great too :) He absolutely killed it!
(And love the macrame ceremony backdrop B+ A scored on Etsy!)

Major love for Britt’s protea + peony bouquet, sweet flower crown and dress by Claire Pettibone from The Dress Theory ♥
Layered Vintage shares, For flowers we went a less expensive route by adding bright blooms to vintage glass bottles and clustering them together on the dining tables. Brittany had purchased table numbers and gold mirrored trays to accompany the bottles and make each table uniquely its own.
It may seem like EVERYONE will have an opinion on how you should plan your wedding. Try to focus on what YOU want though. It's nearly impossible to please every single friend and family member, so you might as well do you. Looking back, the day was absolutely perfect and just so us - I wouldn't go back and change a single detail!

Can someone tell me where the mens suits are from? Thanks!
The groomsmen opted out of jackets so they could showcase their suspenders and bolo ties, and Andrew’s jacket was actually from Express! He had it tailored after purchase :)
