Best of 2012: Fashion Details

fave-wedding-fashion

Today it’s all about the wedding fashion! The fab dresses (both for the bride + lovely bridesmaids), the stylish groom attire, and all the fun fashion accessories. Oh, and if you missed it, yesterday I shared my favorite details + DIY from weddings, so don’t forget to check those also for lots of ideas!

flower crowns

Flower crowns were a big trend on GWS in 2012 including the one above left from this lovely DIY Bohemian Picnic Wedding photographed by Sarah Shreves and from this Eco-Friendly Boho Wedding photographed by SWOON by Katie on the right.

And I think my favorite flower crown was from this Glam Garden Party Wedding photographed by Lara Hotz. Love that the bride wanted to keep her bouquet simple and go all out with her flower crown! Oh, and can we talk about the gorgeous bridesmaids in sequins?! Love.

And flower crowns were not only popular with brides! Loved when the bridesmaids wore them also as in this English Bohemian Summer Wedding photographed by Rosie Parsons above and this Great Gatsby Rustic Wedding photographed by Hugh Forte below. Another fave? The bride below in her bright red lipstick! Love the bold look – and her smile!! :)

book bouquet

The bridal party above from this Handmade Fall Barn Wedding was also one of my favorites. Loved how they each had their own style, but it totally worked! And how fun are the books with flowers each of the bridesmaids carried?! The whole wedding is pretty stunning and it was captured beautifully by Ryan Ray.

pink tulle

Love the bride above with her pink tulle skirt in this Vintage Outdoor Wedding in Tennessee photographed by Love is a Big Deal – oh, and the entire bridal party is pretty stylish too, right?! Those hats!!

striped dresses

Bridesmaids in stripes and bright yellow heels from this Palihouse West Hollywood Wedding photographed by Aaron Shintaku made quite a fun statement.

pink cardigan

We all swooned over Sarah’s gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown paired with the bright pink cardigan from her Intimate California Elopement photographed by Max Wanger.

lace dress

Loved the lace details from this bride’s gown in this Sweden Apple Orchard Wedding photographed by Jonas Peterson.

romantic dresses

One of our most pinned photos from last year were these gorgeous bridesmaids from this Vintage Cali Barn Wedding photographed by Skyla Walton.

And there is something so romantic about this bride’s pale pink Ralph Lauren gown from this Romantic Wedding photographed by Mi belle photography.

stylish groomsmen

And we can’t forget our stylish guys! Loved the groomsmen (including the most stylish little ring bearer!) from this Autumn Backyard Wedding photographed by Jill Thomas as well as the men in this Washington Ranch Wedding photographed by Ben Blood below.

slip dresses

The bridesmaids from this New York Camp Wedding photographed by Our Labor Of Love all wore vintage dresses that the bride dyed to match her lovely color scheme.

blue suit

And loved this groom in blue from this Australian Handmade Wedding photographed by Dan O’Day.

So much great style from our 2012 couples! Can’t wait to see what our 2013 brides + grooms select to wear!!
