An Australian Handmade Wedding: Amy + Julian

groom in a blue suit

Amy + Julian are such a sweet couple! They are both musicians from Australia and threw an intimate + personal wedding last fall. Captured by one of my faves, Dan O’Day, their wedding is full of handmade details and lots of love. I think my favorite thing about their wedding photos is the huge smile on Amy’s face! I just love seeing a couple so genuinely happy! Biggest congrats to Amy + Julian and thanks so much for sharing your beautiful day with us!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

Amy: Seeing Jules when I walked down the aisle

Jules: the whole wedding ceremony was so incredible. I still can’t get over how sacred it felt to stand and make vows to each other in front of the people we love.

Love Amy’s dress which is vintage. Her pretty veil was her mother’s. And let’s not forget Julian! Also pretty fond of his vintage suit :)

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

Jules: Be Yourself! Look at blogs, magazines, photos and venues until you run out of room on your hard drive (like we did) but ultimately, choose for yourself how you want your day to feel and how you would want to remember it.

Amy: The day goes so quickly so make sure that a few times throughout the wedding day you stop and take it all in!

Be sure to also check out their gorgeous engagement photos also by Dan O’Day.
