Brides-to-be, we think you’re about to relate to this topic: You have your wedding dress (yay! ♥), but your next hurdle is figuring out how to perfectly accessorize it for your big day! This is a super common situation in which many soon-to-be-brides find themselves, and to help solve these lingering questions, we’re excited to share today’s feature on a recently hosted #PronoviasMasterclass with renowned celebrity stylist, Micaela Erlanger!
Having styled Hollywood celebrities for years, Micaela is no stranger to finding just the right combination of accessories to create stunning total looks. This time, adding a bridal twist to her usual vintage and glamorous style musings, Micaela expertly led a masterclass that paid special attention to details and the individual needs of her audience of brides-to-be.
Creating 12 looks based on the stunning Atelier Pronovias 2017 Preview Collection, each showcases Micaela’s versatile and fresh perspective, offering brides uniquely inspired bridal looks divided into three main style groups: Cosmopolitan, Hollywood Glamour, and Romantic. At the #PronoviasMasterclass, Micaela shared, I love the combination of materials. I think the Spanish heritage of the brand is so beautifully showcased in a lot of the designs, whether it’s the lace or the various fabrics that are chosen, and the silhouette… I mean it’s just a beautiful confection!
To illustrate a more romantic bridal style, one of the gowns Micaela chose to showcase was Pronovias’ Elideth gown with mesmerizing geometrically-patterned lace. She says, The lace detailing on this gown is exquisite.
To achieve a Classic Hollywood Glamour bridal style, Micaela suggests siren-inspired waves and sultry red lips. A great tip for any brides-to-be hoping to achieve this overall look for their day!
To create the perfect Cosmopolitan wedding day look, Micaela recommends hand-embroidered embellishments and silhouettes that dazzle. We love, love, love the neckline and lace sleeves of the Eludia gown above. And a metallic headband provides the perfect complement!
And one last final tip from Micaela, Your accessories are certainly to be chosen carefully. You don’t want to overcomplicate your look, it’s more about subtle accents.
