If you are a fan of those delicious food trucks that you can only find via twitter (love the kogi truck and cool haus trucks here in LA), you are going to love this unique wedding sent to me by photographer Kate Harrison. Kate + Will were married in San Francisco and planned most of the wedding through twitter! From Kate, “In SF, there are amazing gourmet food carts that appear at different locations & you can only find them if you follow them on twitter. Last Friday, Kate & Will started their evening wedding at the Crème Brulee & Curry Kart’s location on a dead-end street. After some yummy delectables, we walked down the street to a sweet park for a nearly dark ceremony.” What a truly unique wedding! This is a great example of a wedding about the couple and what they enjoy, with a beautiful intimate ceremony afterwards. Love this. Thanks for sharing this with us Kate and congrats to Kate + Will!
Are you on twitter? I am and you can follow me here. I talk about what other inspiration I’m finding out there online and what I’m up to on a weekly basis. I’m also on Facebook where I share additional photos, discussions on the posts, and lots more. Come join me and become a fan here.
Absolutely gorgeous! I think the ceremony at dusk is my favorite part!
that ceremony is beautiful.
this just made me smile! i love this!
wow. Really, wow. LOVE the circle of light around them. The photography is amazing. Wish my wedding had been so low key and simple.
How different and unique!
Many warm wishes to the happy couple! :)
What a fantasticly unique celebration.
I'm so excited that Border Grill just got a taco truck. I'm following them on twitter and scheming about what kind of party I could hire them to cater for me.
oooo – creme brule! delicousness!!
What a BRILLIANT idea!!
I love how "San Francisco" this wedding is…it makes me miss it.
oh my YUM! LOVE the curry cart!
Thank you sooo much for posting this! I want a low key wedding with an non-traditional dress and a non-traditional ceremony! I love this blog because it shows so many types of weddings! Congrats to this couple for making the day truely unique and reminding us that you don't have to have a rediculously ornate/colorcoordinated/overtheamed wedding to have it be inspiring adn touching! And I agree with Bonnie, the ring of lights for the ceremony is fantastic! I think I may do that…
and on a side note you should have a category on the side for nontraditional dresses like this one or that lovely blue dress…
Great idea Mindy! I will add that category.
