Who could forget this adorable vintage beach engagement session I posted last year? And then their wedding? Mer + Tim are just too cute! Well, it’s been a year since their wedding, so they took a honeyversary as they call it – which I love that name! – and spent a few days at one of my favorite hotels, the Ace Hotel + Swim Club in Palm Springs. And they decided to do a fun photoshoot while they were there. Love it!
We loved our engagement photos so much that we wanted to have a similar vibe with our latest shoot. We shot our honeyversary photos with a tripod and wireless trigger, just like before, and of course we had to keep our retro flare! We incorporated our love of the 50s 60s and 70s and took inspiration from movies such as Gidget, Beach Party, and of course Palm Springs Weekend. We found a really great vintage movie projector at a thrift store so we had to use that somehow…and I think it turned out to be so special. I’m thinking this might be an annual tradition :)
How sweet is that last photo of them watching their wedding video! Adorable you guys… Tim + Mer run a photo company in NY called The Melideos. Thanks for sharing your sweet photos with us again and congrats on your first year :)
I love this couple! Their wireless trigger fantasticalness is blowing my mind right now. That last image is SO cute! They’ll love having these in the future!
you are so right about the last shot! it’s so cute!
First – what a hot couple! Second – I love that they are documenting their relationship milestones so exceptionally-awesomely. :) I 2 thumbs up this. Thanks for sharing.
I love this! What a unique idea. I’m thinking about doing it myself! The images look similar to the ShakeItPhoto iPhone, app, too… A very creative, talented couple.
these pictures are so pretty! ♥ in love with the shots ♥ thanks for sharing =)
so hot couple. And i like the vintage pictures, so classic, good.
This is so beautiful, it’s unfair. Can this couple just keep having anniversary shoots every year, just for me to enjoy? This is just too adorable for words, love it.
Oh..wow.. Perfect match for each other. Love the way they are enjoying. Nice post
Love the aged look of these as well as the snaps themselves – cute!
