Tiffany + Jon always knew that they didn’t want to have a traditional wedding as they aren’t a very traditional couple. :) They’ve been together for almost 9 years, so for them it was all about making it feel like a giant celebration and party. They really wanted their wedding to be different than any other wedding they attending – a wedding no one would forget! The most important aspects to them were the food, the booze and the music; hence their theme of Booze, BBQ and Booty Shaking! :)
The location was key, as well, as they wanted something outside and in the fall. Once the visited The Queens County Farm Museum in Queens, NY they knew they found the perfect spot. And it’s the only farm in the five boroughs of NYC – how rad is that?! They love BBQ and comfort food, so they had fried chicken, pulled pork, ribs, brisket, mac and cheese – yum! Big thanks to Sweet Little Photographs for the beautiful photos and congrats to Tiffany + Jon!
How cute was their first look?!! Love their reactions :)
Most memorable moment of your wedding day?
By far the most memorable moment of our day was our ceremony. I just remember thinking, this is awesome, can we rewind this and do it again?! We got married in a barn on the farm and served Firefly and lemondae in mason jars for everyone’s arrival. When the bridal party was walking in our friends and family were going nuts, applauding, whistling, cat calling. I remember standing outside with my dad thinking it sounded more like a concert than a wedding ceremony, it was bad ass.
Our best friend got ordained for us and did the ceremony. It was so personal, funny, and loving. No one else could have pulled it off like he did, it was so special. Our wedding party unexpectedly broke out into song at one point singing “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” by The Beach Boys, one of our favorites. We wrote our own vows which was so important to us and when we had our first kiss everyone threw an explosion of pink and gold confetti. Being up there together was the greatest feeling in the world. We are the best of friends and a team, and to make it official was the greatest thing ever.
Tell us a bit about your music:
Processional: “Cosmic Love” by Florence and the Machine
Recessional: “Let’s Here it for the Boy” by Denice Williams
First Dance: “Home” by Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros
Any advice for those planning now?
Throwing and planning a wedding isn’t always easy, but you shouldn’t make yourself crazy. Have fun and don’t loose sight of the fact that this is a day about the two of you. You have to do what you want that day and not what anyone else wants. At some point the two of you should steal a moment and take it all in. I remember us standing outside the tent looking in right before we were announced for our first dance and it was magical. We were in total awe, it was surreal.

Love it! I’m getting married at the Queens County Farm in September (same caterer!), and I love seeing weddings there.
Hi, We booked the farm for my daughter’s wedding in October 2013. Would you mind if we just stopped by to see your set-up in September? If OK, what is your wedding date?
Thanks, and a huge congratulations! Zina
P.S. I’d love to get in touch with Tiffany/Jon to see if they had any advice/stuff for sale, suggestions for me!
Thanks.
Pretty sure she is one of the most adorable bride’s I’ve seen. Her expressions were great!
This weddings sounds like awesome! I love the idea of something beautiful but not too much, with no glitters but friends, fun and a couple truly in love!
They are SO CUTE!! The photographer did an incredible job capturing all the joy and energy at this wedding! The ceremony shot with all the confetti is priceless :)
I never comment, but it’s worth it this time! I adore this couple! Their music/ style/ personalities…ALL of it!

Wow, this is beautiful.
i just wanted to thank Jen again for doing a write-up on our wedding, such an honor, and everyone here for their kind words, you are all too sweet! i was moved to happy tears when i read all of these. it wasn’t the fanciest of weddings, but it was such a fun day, a true celebration!
erica, if you see this, i would love to help you any way i can since you are getting married at the farm.
xo
Wow. I am normally very picky when I look at weddings. I can usually pick out at least five things that I don’t like about a wedding. I could not do that with this one. Everything looked so fun and perfect for this couple. Everything was so unique and simply beautiful. The confetti that was thrown up at the end was my favorite part. Getting married in a barn is always so cute, and this couple pulled off the barn yet glamorous look! I loved it!
The wedding details, such as the place names and table plan are superbly designed.
This is adorable, I love it. Amazing details and such a fun couple :)
I can not believe the dude from “guy code” on mtv2 got married! Such a beautiful wedding and still in shock. happy for you both!
I absolutely love this wedding! I love the idea of the guests tossing confetti in the air for the kiss. I might try to copy that idea :)
Also, just wondering… in a DIY wedding situation, where would a bride-to-be find wheat?

We wound up doing a backyard wedding but this is gorgeous! Love the girls’ fun flirty dresses and cowboy boots! Tiffany & Jon look like such a fun couple and what beautiful details from the day (especially the pumpkins!). :)
I love this cute and flirty dress. If you’re just as obsessed with Anne Barge as I am, her full collection will be at Solutions Bridal this weekend in Orlando!
Thank you for posting! Our wedding is at the farm June of 2015 and these pics have shown me the many possibilities of the venue. Beautiful choice of everything! What a beautiful bride! Wishing you luck with your marriage!
