I have a fun little shoot to share with you all today – it’s a little session I styled for the hubby and I :) I really wanted to do a shoot in the cherry fields – I’ve been a bit obsessed for some time now with the pretty little flowers on the trees and when EP love offered to photograph us, it was the perfect combination :) And the location they picked was AMAZING! The light was perfect, stunning backdrop – the only negative was it got really cold halfway through the shoot – I was picturing 70 degrees in my head for the shoot – it was more like 50 degrees! Sometimes all you need is a beautiful location…
Love this one below!
I created a simple bouquet of beautiful ranunculus and found that great dress at Urban Outfitters. I really wanted Jason to wear suspenders and a bow tie – perfect attire for a scroll through the orchard :) Big thanks to the super sweet Courtney of Flourish for doing my hair and makeup. If you need someone to help you look extra pretty, she is your girl!
I thought it’s be fun to do my version of a tea party – a tea pot filled with flowers :) We are so serious in these!! Love it.
I think the photo below is my most favorite of the day – it reminds me of one of my most favorite films, The Notebook. It looks like we are in this magical world…
Um, how cute is my husband?!! I am such a lucky girl. Love you so much!
A little outfit change and some fun with these amazing vintage umbrellas from Bella Umbrella. If you aren’t familiar with Bella Umbrellas, they have all these gorgeous vintage umbrellas you can rent – so perfect for a photo shoot and/or wedding (you may remember this wedding last week used them also!)
Hairpiece is by one of my favorites, Untamed Petals.
And then we climbed a tree :)
I can’t say thank you enough to Roger + Lyndzee for capturing Jason and I. Oh, and not only are they awesome photographers, Lyndzee also makes rad hairpieces – Lady Vintique – the yellow one from the tree shoot is by Lyndzee! We had so much fun with them and they really are such a genuinely fun + sweet couple. Be sure to check out more of their work – and some more from our shoot – on EP Love. EP Love is based in Southern California and available to travel worldwide.
These are so lovely and sweet!

Hi Lorraine-
We did the shoot in May and it was a private farm in Cherry Valley, Ca. The tree was doen the street from the farm. Thanks!!
I’m obsessed with the lighting and coloring of these shots. Somehow it’s vintage and modern in the same breath. Beautiful!
What a GREAT shoot! I love the teapot with the flowers :D
Hi. Beautiful photos. Which orchard is this? I’m on the hunt for the perfect wedding location.
