I love this adorable engagement session, Sarah Layne shared with me – and the sweet story behind it!
“Tim proposed to Jillian in 2010 at one of their favorite places, Disneyland in Anaheim. We wanted to capture a similar whimsy + fun feeling with their engagement photos, so Jillian suggested using balloons + pinwheels. But she also wanted to bring in their mutual love of music, and she wanted to be able to use one of the images for a save the date card for their 2012 Portland, Oregon wedding. After brainstorming some ideas, I proposed making the pinwheels for the session out of sheet music and maps, to represent these aspects of the couple and their upcoming wedding.”
