Industrial Copper + Indigo Wedding Inspiration

Industrial Copper and Indigo

Reason #1 why we adore styled shoots: they help us keep up with trends that are perfect for weddings, parties + interior design. Today’s editorial is the perfect example, showing us exactly how to take industrial copper + indigo elements and turn them into a beautiful event!

Molly Gilholm Photography + Kelly Jo Makeup + Hair love to dream up shoots together and realized that with all of their shopping and pinterest-ing recently, they had developed a love for the current trend of shibori and indigo, as well as the natural texture and color of copper. Molly says, We planned a shoot around these two things, and it was a true collaborative, DIY effort. Our team of vendors helped make our vision come to life, and it was pretty fun getting to play wedding planner for the day, and design and craft a tablescape on our own. We rented a warehouse space in Benecia, California (in the San Francisco Bay Area) and wanted to keep the main focus on the colors we chose, so we opted to have Eleanor from Wallflower Design make the gorgeous florals from greenery, to subtly enhance our natural textures and colors.
