Dawn + Tommy both went to school in Los Angeles and love inspiring, unconventional environments. 440 Seaton, an industrial warehouse in the middle of LA’s Arts District, was the perfect space to get creative with DIYs that called upon Dawn’s art major background and helped make the setting reflective of the two of them. Dawn shares, We love the mountains and outdoors. We tried to “bring the outdoors in” with a laid back setting, tons of greenery, long tables under twinkle lights, and accents of wood and antlers.
From the beautiful macrame ceremony backdrop, to the stunning, lush florals by Flowers by Hilary, to the fun confetti recessional, no detail, designed by Dawn + Tommy and executed by Jen Krueger Design, went overlooked. Thanks to Lauren Scotti for capturing it so perfectly + sharing with us today!

After we were pronounced husband and wife, we walked back down the aisle and were showered by confetti and everyone cheering. It was the most amazing, unforgettable feeling to know he is finally my husband (and wedding planning is over), and to feel so overwhelmed with love and support by our family and friends. Also how could you not have a blast running through a shower of confetti?!
We’ll be swooning over Dawn’s rose + jasmine bouquet well into next week! High fives to Flowers by Hilary – you’ve made us weak in the knees!

I took on A LOT and did almost everything myself. Some things are worth the money to leave to a professional even if you feel like you’re capable of taking care of it yourself. I also worried a lot about everything coming together and being cohesive. In the end, I promise it all comes together and works out. And at the end of the day YOU’RE MARRIED and that’s all that matters. Also, married life is way better and way less stressful than being engaged so push through, it get’s easier!
