Planit Floral Design – Irvine, CA

Stephanie Williams (an extremely talented photographer based here in SoCal) sent me these gorgeous photos she took for OC Floral and Event Boutique, Planit, located in Irvine, CA. They were all designed by their Floral Designer, Kelly. She credits her inspiration from her studies in art and art history, which she then translates into her designs using different colors, textures, and styles. I love how these arrangements incorporate unique flowers, and somehow seem to have a sort of vintage feel to them. Thanks for sending these Stephanie!

Amazing paper-cut Illustrations by Yulia Brodskaya

This might not be completely wedding related, but after seeing this on SeeSaw Designs, I just had to share! Yulia Brodskaya is a Russian graphic designer based in London who makes these amazing paper illustrations. They are so expertly crafted and just really cool! You could try the technique she uses, quilling, for your wedding invites if you have a small guest list – this looks like it takes awhile – but how amazing would they look! (see, wedding related!)

Inspiration Board #7 – A Red & Aqua Snowy Wedding

I’ve been loving this color combination for awhile and I think it works perfect for a winter wedding. I picture this wedding in a ski lodge up in Big Bear with lots of pine cones, red berries, hot chocolate, a great pair of red heels, and lots of fun crafty touches.

When I was looking for some photos for this board, I found this wonderful table design on Once Wed. If you haven’t seen this blog, go check it out! Emily features some really great DIY ideas. A Rustic, Folksy, Quirky, Cheerful holiday table…love it. Below are a few images, but go see the whole post – lots more images, so kitschy and fun!
