If you are looking for a venue with the combination of an outdoor garden and an inside urban loft space, the beautiful Marvimon in downtown Los Angeles is perfect. It was originally built in 1924 by an Italian race car driver and was used to showcase his sports cars. In the late 1990′s the current owners had it renovated to be a private, eco-friendly residence that can be rented out for events – perfect for weddings since you can have your ceremony and reception in one location with two different environments.

It features a 7,000 sqft floorplan (4,000 sqft interior + 3,000sqft private grassy courtyard), and can accommodate up to 150 for a sit down dinner. There is a bistro style kitchen that boosts a 19 ft island/bar and your guests can watch them prepare the food- how fun! The12 ft vintage brick walls throughout continue the urban feel,and there is a projector and screen to use during the event – how fun would it be to show your favorite movies as a backdrop!

It is located near Chinatown, surrounded by Elysian and State Historic Parks, and with immediate access to the 110 freeway. The owners also do a great job with their guidance and help throughout the planning of your event. It is sure be an unforgettable event spacefor you and your guests.
